Most people think of Belfast International Airport as somewhere you pass through, not somewhere you stay near. That’s a shame, because the countryside around Aldergrove is genuinely worth a night or two of anyone’s time, and if you’ve got an early flight, a late arrival, or simply a few days to spend in Co. Antrim, Crookedstone House makes a far calmer base than anywhere closer to the terminal itself.
Why base yourself here rather than in the city
Belfast city centre has plenty going for it, but it also means traffic, noise, and a thirty-to-forty-minute run back out to the airport on the morning of an early flight. Staying in Aldergrove instead flips that entirely: Just a few minutes from Belfast International Airport, and around a 10-minute drive from Junction One outlet shopping centre. That’s the difference between a relaxed breakfast before you leave and a stressful dash through rush-hour traffic.
A genuinely quiet setting
The B&B sits within its own private gardens, on a converted stables property well back from the road. It doesn’t feel like an airport hotel, because it isn’t one: no motorway hum, no car park views, just gardens, mature trees, and open fields. After a long flight, or the night before an early one, that quiet counts for more than people expect.

Each of our rooms has a sitting and dining area, with a kettle, small fridge, and microwave if you’d rather not go out for every meal. A full breakfast, cooked to order, with tea and coffee, served each morning. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are included as standard for the duration of your stay.
Timing your stay around a flight
If you’re flying out early the next morning, arriving the evening before means you can get settled, have a proper night’s sleep, and still be at the terminal in good time without setting an alarm for the small hours at home. Equally, if you’re landing late and don’t fancy a long drive onward that night, a room here means you can simply stop, rest, and carry on the next day.
Not just an airport stopover
While convenience is a big part of the appeal, plenty of our guests stay for longer than a single night either side of a flight.
